Intuitive Models is a full service promotional staffing agency with a family business feel that is focused on not only staffing the best models, but giving our clients the attention and service they require and deserve. By listening to their needs and concerns, we maintain a team of models who are motivated and driven to always perform at their best because in our experience, a happier team makes for more successful and effective promotions.
ABOUT THE AGENCY
Intuitive Models was founded by Margo Trovei in April, 2012. After having been a model and a manager herself, Margo was determined to create an agency that not only listened to its clients’ needs, but to the needs of the models as well. In her experience she learned that even the best promotional models could be unmotivated by the actions of the agencies who staffed them. She found that the two biggest factors of model demotivation were lack of communication and severely delayed payment. Margo has seen how these two issues can negatively affect promotions and events and is proud to say that they are not issues with her agency. Her motto of treating others fairly, honestly and in a manner in which she would like to be treated has lead to the quick expansion of her company. Since its founding in 2012 Intuitive Models has expanded from only staffing and executing promotions in the Greater Philadelphia Area to staffing and executing promotions in DE, MD, DC, parts of NJ and special events in NYC & AC.
THE NAME
The word intuitive is certainly seen more in the tech world than the modeling world, but Margo was looking for something that said more than just "Hi. We staff attractive models." After all she knows all too well that you need more than just a pretty face to make a good impression in the promotional modeling industry. Margo wanted a name that was mindful, but names like "Smart & Pretty Models," "Beauty & Brains Agency" and "Total Package Models" didn't quite roll off tongue or give the impression she was looking for. In the midst of indecision she tried tapping into her instincts and trusting her gut and what do you know, she couldn't stop thinking of the word "intuitive." The word itself is sort of sexy and mysterious yet relatable. It is one's innate knowledge; knowing without knowing, being instinctual yet not rash; trusting one's gut. We all have our own instincts career wise and opening Intuitive Models was certainly Margo's.
